Louis XVI-style half-moon console in carved and gilded wood.
This is most certainly a Belgian piece of furniture.
Camped on a fluted and filleted Louis XVI pedestal joined in brace with an urn, the belt is very richly carved with acanthus leaf scrolls and oak leaves on the connecting dices.
Thick molded marble top that has been poorly repaired in one corner.
The gilding has been bronzed with patina.
We present this console in its found condition, sold in the condition as shown in the photos.
