Beautiful and large Empire period chest of drawers in solid walnut wood and marble top. It is flanked by two solid columns continuing in cylindrical front legs. The columns are decorated with original chiseled bronze. This chest of drawers opens with 4 drawers, one a strip and 3 large ones on the front (pull handles and attached keyholes). Original lock but we don't have the key. The top is a thick black marble top with shell inside (a few micro chips on the back edge, whitish stain on the top). The sides are in good condition with just a slight split in the wood like all chests of drawers from this era. Empire period, early 19th century.
