French work, Empire period Superb piece of furniture in Cuban mahogany and gilded bronze comprising an upper part with secretary opening onto an interior composed of drawers and lockers, cover with writing desk in leather embossed with gilt patterns. Lower part forming a chest of drawers opening onto three drawers on the facade, abundant in gilded bronze on the entire cabinet. Dressed in its original white marble, high quality furniture of execution with a lot of character and charm. Entirely period furniture with a small restoration has a rear foot but in no way altering the quality and the beauty of this piece. Non-functional drawer locks omitted that of the flap.
