Light Cavalry Officer's Saber
High-quality light cavalry officer's saber. The blade is richly decorated with a neoclassical motif showing traces of gilding and the maker's mark "Klingenthal". The back of the blade is tubular and the feather-shaped tip has a few light spots. The gilded brass handle has a simple guard and quillons adorned with flaming squares. The hilt is in checkered black ebony. The sword comes with its black leather scabbard decorated with lion-head trim and a row of brass beads in the center. Good condition.
