The particularly refined decoration features acanthus leaves, passementerie, eagle heads, pearl garlands and floral bouquets, perfectly illustrating the ornamental taste of the late 18th century.
The circular, crowned dial features Arabic numerals indicating hours and minutes. It is signed Piolaine in Paris, a watchmaker active at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The dial is circular and crowned, with Arabic numerals indicating hours and minutes.
