The Blériot 2-seater Monoplane
The Blériot two-seater monoplane is a historic aircraft designed by Louis Blériot, a French aviation pioneer. Blériot is most famous for being the first to fly across the English Channel in 1909 aboard his famous Blériot XI.
This two-seater Blériot monoplane represents an evolution of his earlier designs, specially adapted to accommodate two people, usually a pilot and a passenger. These aircraft were frequently used for training flights, demonstrations and pleasure flights in the early days of aviation.
