A bronze okimono depicting a geisha walking barefoot, signed Seiya zō. With her left hand she slightly lifts the hem of her kimono, while her right hand is raised to her mouth in a gesture of surprise, as if reacting to something she is observing. The figure is rendered with a sense of naturalism and movement, evident in the posture and the flowing drapery. The refined modeling of the kimono and the elaborate hairstyle fully reflect the characteristics of the Tokyo School. Signed above the base.
