Samson - Pair Of Two-handled Porcelain Cups (19th Century)
Pair of two-handled porcelain cups from the famous Samson factory (Paris) made in the Meissen taste in the 19th century.
The body of the cups is adorned with a polychrome decoration of flowers painted au naturel (Saxony flowers), complemented by flowers in relief (barbetine), some of which have slight scratches
These handles simulate green plant stems
Signature of Samson
The cups are presented with a bronze patina bronze mount which are added. But they can be sold without the bronzes for 345 euros.
The cups are old: they show traces of their history which in no way alter their decorative dimension
Some scratches are present on the raised petals. An old restoration can be seen on one handle. A stabilized and restored hair can also be seen inside one of the cups
