Specialized in political and social caricature, he worked for AL-Kashkoul and l'Éggypte nouvelle where he produced satirical portraits and political figures. As for this caricature, we see a scene from everyday life where a convoy pulling a cart blocks a tram ahead of the passing passengers. The whole is treated in a humorous way, which is for the avant-garde era. The colors are bright and luminous, signed at the bottom right and presented in a high-quality frame.
