Superb terracotta from the early twentieth century representing a gallant scene. Presented on a rectangular base forming steps on which stand a young woman standing and a young man kneeling at her feet. The young woman is wearing a hat and wearing a long dress, the young man wears her a jacket. The patina is superb and the sculpture is signed on the back Fanny Rozet (1881-1958) Born Stéphanie Amélie Mismaque daughter of René Rozet sculptor. Member of the Union of Women, Painters and Sculptors, 1st woman accepted at the Paris School of Fine Arts in 1896, participated in the Prix de Rome in 1905, exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1904 and received in 1924 the medal of bronze. Present in particular at the Marseille museum. His works revolve around sculpture, with scenes of characters. Quality work in excellent condition.
