19th-century Parasol Case
A superb and rare Napoleon III-era parasol case. Presented in its original camel-colored morocco leather case, it consists of a wooden and gilded metal handle, 8 ribs, and a tip. The metal portion of the handle is finely carved, while the wooden portion is varnished. The set is in good condition with some wear to the gilding and is presented in a case from the R. Dagusé firm in Nantes. A beautiful decorative or collectible item.
