Lamp Nils Kälher
Elegant Scandinavian ceramic table lamp, designed by Danish ceramist Nils Kähler for the Herman A. Kähler factory, circa 1960.
The shaft features a beautiful deep turquoise-blue glaze, characteristic of Kähler production, embellished with incised decoration in a geometric herringbone pattern. The upper neck, deliberately left rough, contrasts with the glossy enamel, the workshop's aesthetic signature.
Model particularly interesting for the presence of its ancient lampshade height adjustment system, consisting of a double-armed brass structure with sliding ring to adjust light diffusion. This period feature gives the lamp both a functional and decorative character.
