Christian Vedel Danish Rosewood Table
Elegant Danish table designed by Christian Vedel in the 1960s, representative of modernist Scandinavian design.
The rectangular top features a superb palisander veneer with rich, contrasting veining, set off by a subtly curved belt, a signature of quality Danish furniture. The lines are softened and perfectly mastered, testifying to meticulous cabinetmaking.
The table rests on four elegantly tapered legs, bringing visual lightness and balance to the whole. The sober, functional aesthetic is fully in keeping with the spirit of Danish design from the 50s and 60s.
