Elegant suite of Scandinavian coffee tables designed by Kai Kristiansen and published by Magnus Olesen in Denmark in the 1960s.

These models, from the so-called "Universe" series, are distinguished by their top in natural slate (shale), an uncommon material in furniture, offering a subtle mineral texture and unique tonal variations. This choice lends the ensemble great elegance while guaranteeing excellent resistance to use.

The structure is made of solid rosewood, with rich, warm veining characteristic of the high-end Danish design productions of this period.

Each table rests on four finely crafted tapered legs, linked by a belt with slightly softened lines, perfectly illustrating Scandinavian cabinetmaking expertise.

Designed to be used together or separately, these modular tables offer great freedom of arrangement and make a particularly decorative set.
