Of violin form in walnut burl veneer, presenting a particularly rich and nuanced design, revealing all the quality of the wood.
The finely scrolled, tilting top rests on a central turned shaft decorated with rings and gadroons, flourishing on a curved tripod base
The legs, delicately carved with foliage motifs, end in original castors, bringing lightness and elegance to the ensemble.
Fine French workmanship, characteristic of the early Napoleon III period, still imbued with Louis-Philippe influence.
Very fine original patina. Sound and stable.
Note: a slight old crack on the top, with no effect on solidity.
