The front is adorned with fine geometric marquetry with pointed borders and friezes. They rest on four fluted, tapered legs ending in sabots.
Rich gilt bronze ornamentation includes corner mounts, a drawer pull, and a side ring. The whole is surmounted by a beautiful original red veined marble top.
