Antique Lunéville K&g Earthenware Soap Dish, Floral Design – Circa 1920–1940
A charming antique soap dish made of fine earthenware known as “Opaque” from the Keller & Guérin factory in Lunéville, identifiable by its original stamp on the back.
The “Opaque Lunéville” mark was used starting in the late 19th century and appears on pieces produced in the first half of the 20th century.
This model consists of a rectangular tray with scalloped edges and its original removable grate, which allows water to drain.
It is adorned with an elegant polychrome floral design, accented by a pink border, characteristic of Lunéville pieces.
A beautiful piece for a vintage bathroom or powder room, as decorative as it is functional, in good overall condition, with slight crazing in the enamel consistent with its age.
