Lovely Louis XIII period solid walnut armchair.
Rests on two turned rosary legs at the front and two square-section rear legs, all joined by an H-shaped brace, also square-section.
Armrests and armrest supports are worked in rosary grains.
Small, flat, rectangular backrest.
The upholstery on our armchair has been completely redone recently, the seat is firm and comfortable.
The upholstery fabric is also recent and has a beautiful studded finish.
Please note that the H-shaped crotch bar has been replaced, as have the two small balls at the ends of the front legs.
As for the two rear legs, they bear old grafts. ( see last photo )
