A large red field, hosts a decoration of stylized flowers, animals, in shimmering colors, red, almond, blue, ivory as well as a multitude of eyelets
( symbol of beauty, youth, renewal, hope and peace) escape and dot the rest of the innocupé field.
This very elaborate and classical design is there to remind us of the Persian style and its very present influence in this work, Iran being a neighbor of these regions.
A great gaiety emanates from this carpet, due to the vivacity of the colors.
The wide flowery border with two braids, is adorned with carnations and for the other band, botehs on the perimeter that stand out against a red background.
Each flower in turn alternates the color of its petals, from yellow to orange, orange to yellow and blue.
This is to ensure that the objects and flowers in this wonderful rug, in very good condition, can be easily read.
The bangs are short and clean.
Rugs prior to 1925 are defined in five groups: the kazakhs, karabakh or sjirvan, kuba and daghestani.
Rugs from the Caucasus and Karabakh region often have soft patterns and are reminiscent of Persian rugs, which is the case for our model.
Outside this classification, we also find Gandja, Silé and Verni rugs.
These rugs are distinguished by their highly varied and imaginative geometric patterns.
Animal figures or geometric and architectural motifs are sometimes found in stylized form.
This rug has been professionally and ecologically cleaned.
