Mid-18th Century Louis XV Veneered Chest Of Drawers
Refined and unique chest of drawers, finely veneered
in walnut and olive burl, embellished with fruitwood fillet inlays. It features
a slightly wavy shape on the top, both on the front and sides, while the lower
front is arched. The piece is also distinguished by its semi-curved legs,
typical of the period, and its four drawers—two small and two large—open with
bronze keys and equipped with original locks, ergonomically designed for
storing various objects. The chest of drawers has been recently restored and
polished entirely with natural shellac, and presents itself as a very elegant
and refined piece, capable of adding a touch of class and antique style to any
space. Sienese-Tuscan manufacture from the Louis XV period, around the mid-18th
century.
