Still Life With Fish

Oil on canvas depicting a still life with fish and oysters, attributed to Pieter van Boucle (1610-1673), a Flemish painter active in Paris in the 17th century.
This composition is fully in the tradition of Nordic still lifes, characterized by meticulous realism and a sober staging that highlights materials and reflections.
