Charming and elegant little chest of drawers from the Transition of the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods
in marquetry, dating from the second half of the 18th century, circa 1765.

The chest of drawers we present opens with four drawers on three rows, inlaid with satinwood
and green-stained wood fillets with Greek-style interlacing.
The slightly curved front rests on four cambered feet.
The sides are inlaid with lozenges.
The top is original royal red marble.
A fine ormolu ribbon and laurel leaf trim completes the decor.
The case is made of oak.
