Round earthenware jardinière from Langeais decorated with a vine motif and bunches of grapes, 19th century. Marked underneath "Charles de Boissimon à Langeais" in relief. Circa 1862. Creamy white background with platinum highlights. Handles with movable rings. Very fine molding work. The base features pierced berries in the center. Decorated with bunches of grapes in the round, highlighted with platinum. Interlacing vine leaves. This decoration recalls that Charles de Boissimon was also a winegrower. Jardinière with a flat bottom. Good overall condition: wear to the platinum and two small restored flowers (see photos). Height: 11 cm. Diameter at the neck: 12 cm. Diameter at the base: 9.5 cm. Inside the jardinière: three dots arranged in an equilateral triangle (discreet Masonic symbol). This piece comes from the collection of a discerning collector.
