Decorative Lava Stone Plaque Circa 1960 Enameled Bas-relief (in The Style Of Lurçat, Correct)
A beautifully glazed lava stone plaque dating from the 1950s-60s, featuring decorative chiseled motifs reminiscent of the work of artists Jean Lurçat and Paul Corriger from the same period. The landscape is depicted in navy blue, brown, yellow, green, and white. The design includes a naive flower, house, and moon motif. The geometric rhythm and composition are very interesting. The signature on the back is illegible. In very good condition. Small size. Dimensions: 12 cm wide x 35 cm high.
