Terracotta sculpture signed (inscription "Houdon"), probably reproduced around 1900. Represents an identified model of the famous sculptor Jean Antoine Houdon (1741-1828): the bust of Louise Brongniart (1772-1845), daughter of Alexandre Théodore Brongniart ( 1739-1813). Date of creation of the original: 1777. Very beautiful execution of this model in terracotta. Light gray patinated sculpture reported on turned marble shower foot (Height: 12 cm). Good condition, some lack of color on the patina.
