Superb and very elegant terracotta bust representing Madame Juliette Récamier. Our bust was made by Charles Emile Jonchery (1873-1937) who signed Joncery. The details are striking with a face of great finesse. The hair and the collar receive a very particular treatment with many details with lace and ribbon. This bust features two old shards on the lace and the comb in the hair. Also there is a spot on the right cheek and lighter earth on the left side.
