Pair Of 18th-century Bergère Chairs With Detached Columns
An interesting pair of Louis XVI period lacquered wood armchairs, with fluted and reeded legs, convex front rails in the center and concave ones on the sides, and detached columns in front and on the sides of the backrest. The woodwork is in good condition, with a beautiful patina of age in the painted details, and is upholstered in antique rose velvet. See four cabriolet armchairs of the same model in my gallery.
