Exceptional riveted iron marine chest, working lock with 7 pins, painted with flowers, shells and foliage. The decoration is well preserved on the front and sides. This chest has the particularity of having a remarkable and rare iron lock cover plate pierced and engraved with mermaids with Indian bodies. With its bar and key, this chest is in very good original condition.
