Guéridon, Marquetry Living Room Table, Circa 1850
This Italian pedestal table, dating from the mid-19th century, boasts a beautifully inlaid top showcasing a variety of woods: cherry, walnut, walnut burl, elm, oak, as well as blackened pear, sycamore, mahogany, lemonwood, amaranth, and rosewood.
The lower part of the four-legged base appears to have been restored. The table is stable, the leg is detachable, and a large wooden screw connects it to the top.
It is in good overall condition, with little signs of wear consistent with its age.
Its height is ideal for a coffee table or end table.
Dimensions: Length = 90 cm, Width = 59 cm, Height = 63 cm.
Shipping, if possible, will be at an additional cost.
