Exceptional peacock vase in engraved and enameled glass by Montjoye. Never seen before in 25 years of glassmaking passion, this peacock vase is of unique quality and beauty. A large peacock with its long golden tail spreads across the entire vase. Entirely acid-etched and finely enameled, the quality is impressive. I'll let you be the judge; the piece speaks for itself. NOTE that I have a pair (a true pair, as each peacock faces in a different direction). It would be a great shame (even sacrilege) to separate them. See the last photos. Museum-quality piece. 32 cm high, with Montjoye's signature frosted background. Circa 1900, in the purest Art Nouveau style. An exceptional, unique piece! Price is for one vase.
