A tiny, top-shaped Louis XIV period bottle case in black chagreen, studded and ornate of a silver star, with hinged opening and silver knob. Inside lined with pink silk piped of silver ribbons, contains two cut-glass bottles with their cork and turned silver stoppers, each hallmarked, as is the small funnel, of fleur-de-lis hallmark for very small objects, Paris, circa 1685.
The great Louis XIV period.
Minuscula: dimensions: 4.8cm x 3.5cm x 4.6cm. Weight: 54g.
In good condition, studding almost complete, one of the cut-glass bottles shows some age-related flaking.
