Exceptional pheasant vase by André Delatte. Rare decoration of a pheasant perched on a branch, entirely etched with acid. No other example is known; this vase was probably commissioned, as it is dated April 22, 1921, on the base. The vibrant, tangy colors are striking. Beautifully fine engraving. The vase rests on a small foot with a long stem that tapers to a wide, flattened neck. 37 cm high, perfect condition, signed "ADelatte Nancy" on the side and dated. Superb model, probably unique, with beautiful colors.
