Charles SCHNEIDER (1881-1953) Large vase with ''LAURIERS'' decoration, listed model produced by the master glassmaker during the Art Deco period between 1924 and 1927, signed on the foot Le Verre Français It measures 35 cm high X 15 cm in diameter -Very good condition-Paste de Verre multi-layer proof of baluster form ending in a wide flared neck adorned with engraved honeycomb motif, The body is decorated with an acid-etched cameo in shaded violet, depicting four branches in flowery friezes set in relief against a cloudy white, orange and yellow background. The lower part rests on a hot-formed pedestal. Interesting model with elaborate decoration in the pure spirit of Art Deco production, listed on pages 127 and 136 of the book "- SCHNEIDER - LE VERRE FRANÇAIS - CHARDER - by Marie Christine JOULIN and Gerold MAIER, published by Weissner".
