A shamshir saber originating from the Ottoman Empire, specifically the Syrian region.
It has an iron and brass hilt, a horn grip inlaid with copper, and a wooden scabbard covered in stitched and glued leather (originally embossed).
It features three iron mounts.
The blade has two fullers, with two additional fullers near the ricasso.
The ricasso is flat, and the blade is decorated with chiseled arabesques and finished with a false edge.

The blade is 78 cm long, and the grip is 15 cm from the bottom of the crossguard.
The overall length is 100 cm,
and it weighs 1.15 kg.
