Charming pair of Directoire-style armchairs in beechwood with a varnished and waxed finish. The chairs rest on two tapered front legs and two saber legs at the rear. The tops of the backs curve outwards and are finished with scrolls. The armrests are slightly curved. The supports are baluster-shaped. The upholstery is comfortable and in very good condition. The fabric is petit point, featuring a pretty design of rows of small flowers and interlaced foliage within rows bordered by small green stripes.
