Samson, Lamp Decorated In The Taste Of China, Large Porcelain Lamp Base From Paris

Very pretty Paris porcelain lamp base resting on a finely chiseled Bronze base. Our porcelain is entirely decorated in the style of China, it comes from the famous “Samson” factory in Paris. This factory specialized in the reproduction of porcelain and miscellaneous collector's items of exceptional quality which earned it worldwide fame. She will also be nicknamed “the genius of imitation”. Depending on the different model productions, it will adopt various signatures. The one present under the base of our porcelain (see photo) is used for the decorations inspired by the Far East. In addition, some variations existed in terms of signatures, in fact, each decorator had his own way of signing and slightly modifying the bass signature.
