First Half Of The 19th Century Pair Of Charles X Vases
Refined
pair of gilded bronze and Sèvres porcelain vases. The cobalt blue porcelain is
embellished with gold trim and painted decorations, enhancing their elegance.
The vases are distinguished by a very rare typology, characterized by a square
base and an amphora shape, with handles in the shape of masks, the latter
elements typical of the style of the period. Scenes of birds in trees are
depicted on both sides of the vases, completing the ensemble. This pair of
vases is an example of great taste and elegance, capable of adding a touch of
class to any setting. French manufacture from the Charles X period, around the
first half of the 19th century (ca. 1830).
