A lovely 18th-century box in orange lacquer, decorated with floral motifs in gold leaf and garlands on the sides. The interior is lined with superb paper, possibly also 18th century, decorated with gilt and green scrolling foliage on a red background. In very good condition. Gilt iron hinges. Dovetail joints. The original small feet are missing. A box for gloves, handkerchiefs, or lace. France.
