Russian Rectangular Box XVIII
Rectangular box end of XVIIIth Russia, Arkhangelsk region. It is resinous with a bone plating or marine ivory, decorated with geometric friezes and foliated openwork and painted on a background of mica blade. At its garnet velvet top. Some lacks, wear, splinters, lock missing. Very nice object despite everything. Sold as is.
