Small walnut desk/side table, Directoire period, late 18th century. This charming small desk, which can also serve as a side table, is made of walnut and features a drawer in the front with a brass keyhole escutcheon. It rests on four tapered legs with a rounded section, characteristic of the Directoire style. The apron is simple and elegant, typical of late 18th-century furniture.
