Pair of Art Deco walnut armchairs, Spanish-inspired – circa 1930
A beautiful pair of walnut armchairs dating from the first half of the 20th century, circa 1930, featuring an elegant, Spanish-inspired Art Deco design.
These armchairs are distinguished by their simple, architectural construction. The wide, rectangular backs are decorated with two molded panels in slight relief, lending the pieces a great deal of character.
The straight armrests rest on slightly curved posts, while the square base is reinforced with crossbars, giving the armchairs excellent stability and a particularly balanced silhouette.
The seats are upholstered with beautiful traditional straw padding arranged in a star pattern, whose light hue contrasts pleasantly with the warm, deep patina of the walnut.
A decorative and authentic pair, featuring a beautiful patina from use, ideal around a table, in front of a desk, or as accent chairs in a traditional or contemporary interior.
