Balbino Giner (1910-1976), originally from Valenciennes and a Prix de Rome winner, settled in Roussillon in the 1940s, where he created and produced the majority of his work. He died in 1976 and is buried in the Collioure cemetery, not far from the great Castilian poet Antonio Machado. Height 157cm. Width 128cm. The photograph of the artist is not included in the sale.
