Early 19th Century Sword With Eagle Decoration
A sword circa 1820-30 - decorated with an eagle and crown (formerly silvered bronze). The guard branch is a modern addition in tinplate. The blade is worn and shows oxidation. The eagle-decorated shell guard is of good quality. This sword should be considered as a specimen or used to restore another example. Handle length 14 cm - shell guard 9 x 7 cm
