-- This astonishing harness or pedestal table represents Hercules crushing Nemea, overcoming a turtle, and carrying a sphere on his back. A sort of Hercules/Atlas combination. In walnut. This iconography is probably inspired by an ancient or Italian Renaissance.
character in good condition - Lacquered in black in the 19th century (lacquer wear). Probable modifications to the board. Four rear feet (attacked by worms - treated with xylophene - A block must be placed on the rear foot for horizontality).
