Charming solid silver sugar-stirring spoon dating from the late 19th century.
The bowl is guilloché with a pattern of fine wavy lines.
The reverse is decorated with a Louis XVI style cartouche engraved with the monogram DB (?).
The bowl is pierced and shaped like a shell.
The spoon is hallmarked:
Minerva 1st standard pre-1973 for 950/1000 silver
Maker's mark to be identified: LJ with a barely legible mint mark consisting of a cross surmounted by a star.
