A wooden altar covered in gilded lacquer, composed of two seated Buddha figures in prayer on a lotus-shaped base framing a pagoda-shaped stele inscribed with "Namu myōhō renge kyō" (Homage to the Lotus Sutra of the Correct Law). The lower section is highly elaborate, composed of several levels with finely carved decoration.

Good condition, regilded in places, with signs of wear and minor lacquer loss.
