Pair Of Théodore Deck Vases

Artist: Théodore Deck
Extremely rare pair of Gu-shaped turquoise enameled ceramic vases, carried by elephants and resting on an openwork base ending in four flared feet. Some lack of enamel otherwise very good original condition (no restoration). The attraction exerted by these vases in a room, partly due to the famous turquoise blue color developed by Théodore Deck, unfortunately does not operate through my photos, I am sorry. The two vases signed "TH.DECK" under the base. France, around 1880-1890. A similar pair of vases sold at Aguttes on October 8, 2014, lot 13.
