An elegant pair of Louis XVI period cabriolet armchairs with caned medallion backs, adorned with floral motifs at the top and formerly re-lacquered in lead white, now displaying an authentic patina, marked by time and use. Recessed armrests with upholstered cuffs, fluted and reeded legs. Traditional upholstery and re-covered in Toile de Jouy fabric. Very good condition, with only a slight, old separation at one of the backrest joints, discreet and inconspicuous and without affecting the sturdiness.
