Art Deco Period Ivory Toilet Set
Artist: Maison Brunet à Bône
A typical Art Deco toilet set made entirely of ivory, with highly geometric shapes for the six pieces that comprise it: an oval, beveled hand mirror with a silver-plated metal frame, two long-handled brushes, two straight brushes, and a shoehorn.
The set is presented in its original compartmentalized case, where each piece has its designated place.
The brushes are still encased in their fabric rings.
In near-mint condition, with a small chip at the top of the mirror's reflective surface.
The lid of the case bears the mark of the Brunet company in Bône, circa 1925.
Case dimensions: 46 cm x 37 cm x 8 cm. Brushes: 17 to 22 cm. Shoehorn: 19 cm. Mirror: 26 cm.
