"19th Century Mono And Stereoscopic Graphoscope Photo Viewer"
Case for viewing photo plates on paper card in stereoscopy through two lenses but also graphoscope allowing to look at enlarged photographs through a large lens, magnifying glass. The case, of high quality of manufacture is in walnut and the interiors in sycamore. Hinges, spandrels, closing latches, and small curved feet in patinated and worked brass.

Very good condition, just a tiny lack on a latch and on the wood turned around a small lens (visible on the photos)
French manufacture late 19th century: it bears a round stamp with a star in the center of an inscription "brand of manufacture"
